Staff Assistant to Cyber Defense Unit (1.CFF)
The Cyber Defense Unit (1.CFF) is part of the Armed Forces' capability for armed combat in the cyber domain. We defend the Armed Forces' command support systems through both proactive reconnaissance activities and reactive management of IT security incidents. Our dimensioned adversaries have significant resources and high competence, which places high demands on us to protect the systems. As the unit's operations involve handling live missions, you will be an important player in defending Sweden and strengthening our overall capability in the cyber domain.
Main Responsibilities
As a Staff Assistant with us, you will belong to the command section, S3. The section is responsible for ensuring that all operations are coordinated, ordered, and subsequently followed up. You will also support other parts of the staff with various tasks within your area. In the role of staff assistant, you will have a varied and exciting everyday life where your main tasks are:
- Manage the unit's various command support systems.
- Assist the staff in preparing briefings, orders, and reports.
- Maintain situation maps and tables.
- Communication, expedition, and archive services.

Qualifications
- Good user skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in administrative work.
- Driver's license B
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
Meritorious
- Completed military basic training.
- Service at the staff.
- Experience in archive and expedition tasks
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT systems, especially IS UndSäk
- Experience in signal protection service

Other Requirements
You should not disclose that you have applied for a position at 1.Cyber Defense Unit to anyone other than those directly involved. The reason we ask you to be discreet with this information is that there are positions within the unit that are subject to confidentiality.
For employment with the Armed Forces, Swedish citizenship is required. Employment entails national and international duty to serve. The position has combat status, which means you must be able to handle and use weapons. You will receive this training with us.
A security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment. The selection process will be supplemented with psychological tests.
Employment type: Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
